Owner-Trained Adult Dog Program
Best for: clients who already own a suitable adult dog or rescue dog, pending suitability assessments.
An intensive instructor led program, whereby a qualified instructor trains the dog alongside the applicant, ensuring that the applicant is actively involved and maintains the dog’s training through additional practice between sessions. During the final month of the programme, the instructor focuses on teaching the applicant how to effectively work with, handle, and maintain the dog’s trained behaviours.
Owner-Trained Puppy Program
Best for: clients starting with a young puppy external to the organisation.
The client works closely with an instructor throughout the puppy's development, from foundation training through to advanced assistance work.
Important: clients are responsible for maintaining regular daily and weekly practice between instructor sessions.
Organisation-Trained Assistance Dog Program
Best for: clients wanting a more supported and comprehensive option.
We take responsibility for sourcing, raising, socialising, and training the dog before matching them to the client's specific needs and lifestyle. The final stage includes client training, team integration, and a structured handover process.
