Option 1 Puppy in early foundation training

Owner-Trained Adult Dog Program

Best for: clients who already own a suitable adult dog or rescue dog, pending suitability assessments.

Instructor-ledintensive structure

An intensive, instructor-led program focused on developing the dog into a reliable working assistance dog. A qualified instructor trains the dog directly, then teaches the client how to confidently work with and maintain the dog's skills.

Option 2 Adult dog training session

Owner-Trained Puppy Program

Best for: clients starting with a young puppy external to the organisation.

18–24 monthsapprox. duration
Close collaborationwith an instructor

The client works closely with an instructor throughout the puppy's development, from foundation training through to advanced assistance work.

Important: clients are responsible for maintaining regular daily and weekly practice between instructor sessions.

Option 3 Handover day with client and dog

Organisation-Trained Assistance Dog Program

Best for: clients wanting a more supported and comprehensive option.

We take responsibility for sourcing, raising, socialising, and training the dog before matching them to the client's specific needs and lifestyle. The final stage includes client training, team integration, and a structured handover process.
